Mushroom Foraging in the Forests of Suffolk

David Truzzi Franconi (DTF to his friends!) is a man of many talents, so for this story I chose to follow him on one of his mushroom foraging expeditions. It was a bit late in the mushroom season when we managed to meet up, but we still found a few mushroom delights in Rendlesham Forest in East Suffolk. It was a fascinating morning for me, I learnt a lot but can’t remember enough to risk picking any mushrooms for myself when I’m out and about! Next year I will go out with DTF again, and then I hope we will find enough to cook up a feast afterwards!
